Celebrating 197 years of Ministry in Coweta County.

Honoring our past and embracing our future.

Welcome to Mt.Gilead

Mt. Gilead is a church family who loves God, loves being together and loves our community. This is evident as we worship together, grow in Jesus together, rejoice together, grieve together, eat meals together, and serve our community together.

The natural rhythm of our church life is Sunday morning worship, Wednesday Night meals and Bible study classes for all ages, weekly discipleship groups, and monthly local mission opportunities in our community.

We’d love for you to come be part of our church family and a part of what God is doing in our community!

Our Mission

Love God, love others, and make disciples through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Lead Pastor

Faithful leadership rooted in Scripture, service, and community.

Pastor Joseph Tillman, D. Min. has faithfully served his congregation in small-town Georgia for over two decades. With a strong commitment to discipleship, he is passionate about helping people grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and live it out daily. Grounded in biblical truth and shaped by years of ministry, Pastor Joseph leads with a steady, thoughtful approach, guiding meaningful conversations that strengthen the church and encourage spiritual growth.

Monthly Prayer

O God, who for our redemption gave your only begotten Son to die upon the Cross, and by his glorious resurrection delivered us from the devil and the power of death: Grant us grace to die daily to sin, that we may live with him in the joy of his resurrection; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
